I created the blog in the wee hours of the morning after my daughter and I had visited literary sites throughout Paris. The front desk rep. at the hotel and I became friends...he saw me working in the lobby every night. Ibrahim would bring water and "chocolat chaud" (hot chocolate) to bleary-eyed, determined me...determined to get that blog right! So, we talked in the lobby- empty of the touristy sounds, as I uploaded pictures and wrote my essays.
Aaahhh..who ever said the French were not friendly?
